Some tips for the best results on your cookies (or pie, or pasta, etc.)

Make sure the disks of dough are well-chilled so they're easy to roll out thin.
If the dough is too soft and sticks to the hands, add more flour.
No baking powder- better embossing result on the cookies.
Add 1/4 starch (potato flour) instead of wheat flour.
Be generous with the flour on your dough pads before embossing.
Roll up approx. 0.2 inch (5 mm) thick pastry before rlling the patterm.
Do not over-bake your cookies, the pattern will be less visible if you do so.
Try out different recipes in small amounts so you can choose the one that works the best for you.
If the dough stick, remove it with brush, do not allow the dough to harden.
After use clean dry with a brush first, then if needed with water, soap and a brush. Dry well before using again.
Do not wash in a dishwasher and try to avoid prolonged contact with water.

Butter Cookies

Production steps：

For the first time you can make half portion.

①Beat together butter and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until pale and fluffy.

②Beat in the egg, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flourand salt and stir into the mixture.

③Knead the dough for about 15 minutes,or until the dough is firm and smooth. If the dough is still a bit sticky, you can add a little more flour. Cover dough, and chill for at least one hour.

④Preheat oven to 320° F (160° C). Line your baking sheet with parchment.Cut enough dough to fill large baking sheet (chill remainder of dough,wrapped in plastic wrap).

⑤Roll the dough out up to 1/8" (3-5 mm) thick with regular rolling pin, then emboss with embossing roling pin.Cut shapes and place them on the sheet (they won't be spreading very much,but they need air room around each cookie).

⑥Bake for 13 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly golden at the edges. Remove from oven and let them sit for 5 minutes.

1 cup (240g) butter softened at room temperature
0.6-0.8 cup (150-200g) white sugar
1 egg
3.5 cups (500g) all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
Vanilla extract or vanilla sugar
