Although every baby is different, most babies are introduced to solids at around 6 months. These signs may mean that your baby is ready. Check with your pediatrician to be sure.

Baby’s first textures are well-blended purees. Later textures can be a little coarser. As you introduce your baby to textures, mix Amara Baby Food with slightly more liquid to start, gradually using less liquid as baby learns to chew and swallow.

Many baby foods - in both jars and pouches - are repeatedly cooked and/or treated with high heat, drained and extensively processed, concentrating sugar levels and compromising nutrition, flavor, and texture. To compensate for the lost nutrition, flavor, and texture - and to make the food shelf-stable - emulsifiers, synthetic or isolated nutrient powders, and other ingredients may be added back in.
