THE STORY

Established in 2005 in Indonesia, KainKain offers modern contemporary embroidered home decors.

The idea of the brand name "KainKain" came from a word in Bahasa Indonesia "Kain" means fabric.
We started running off the bussines as a home business selling home linen products for Indonesia market. After some years selling to local market, we see the bigger opportunities on international market which we can grab with selling online, and now our products can be purchased on some global marketplaces.

All KainKain products are handmade at our own workshop in Indonesia, South East Asia. We put a lot of efforts, time and attention into each piece to create high quallty pillow covers with exquisite embroideries.

We are working with crafter and skillfull person to create quality and gorgeous products.

All the processes starting from the preparation, embroidering, sewing and finishing are done by crafters at our own workshop in Indonesia. All the embroideries created by our crafters using hand machine embroidery.

We only produce a limited number of products as the production process takes time and we want to ensure that each product has an exceptional quality.

All KainKain pillow covers are handcrafted therefore there may be slight variation in each pillow cover.

When it comes to packaging we do our best to ensure the product will be received safely and in a perfect condition. Each product is carefully packed in a polybag with including a thank you and caring instruction tag then put it into a nice KainKain box. The product box has KainKain Brand and Made in Indonesia printed on it.

The creative process start from creating an illustration on paper and then transform it into an embroidery design.
The next process is to transfer the design onto the fabric with tracing it one by one.
All the embroidery is made using hand machine embroidery. This machine needs crafter with embroidery skill to transform the design that has been drawn on the fabric into exquisite embroidery.

Cotton Linen Fabric- Hidden Zipper Closure

Both sides are made of the same cotton linen fabric. The embroidery is only on the front size.
For clean and modern look the cover has matching color hidden zipper at the bottom edge
