In the event of a main power disruption in your home, this battery backup accessory will sustain your Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff device’s (works with 3/4″, 1″ and 1-1/4″ sizes) operations for 3+ days. In normal operating mode, the unit passes 12 VDC to your Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff device and maintains battery charge level. If there is an AC line disruption, your Flo by Moen Smart Water Shutoff device will immediately switch to the battery supply in order to maintain power to your device.
