Our clothing is comfortable and colorful, so you’ll look great and feel great wearing it!

In 1991, I traveled to Indonesia for seven months and loved it. I loved the culture, the handicrafts and most of all the people. When I returned home, I couldn’t stop thinking about the gorgeous batik clothing and beautiful fabrics I’d seen in Bali. And with that inspiration Back from Bali was born.

Today, I’m proud to say we sell our exclusive resort wear to women all over the world.

Ethical Manufacturing

Since 1991, our clothing has been ethically made by family or women owned artisan businesses in Bali.

Our rayon fabric is locally sourced in Indonesia and sustainably produced.

Exclusive Custom Designs

Every year I go to Bali to design and create new products. I’m immediately inspired by the beautiful landscape, vibrant colors, the people, and everything that surrounds me there.

I start by hand selecting fabrics for my designs, creating custom prints, and working with our artisans to hand paint fabric or create intricate embroidery for our designs.

I love the collaboration with our artisans. Often, I’ll start with a vision and we’ll work on a fabric or enhanced design that brings my vision to an amazing reality.

From hand selecting our fabrics, to creating custom prints, each piece of clothing is created for you, out of the special bond I have with our Balinese artisans
