Since 2015, the Brewista Cold Pro System has revolutionized the way people make cold brew coffee. With a 'lift, twist and drain' design, it eliminates the mess, waste and frustration that come with other cold brew systems. The Cold Pro is by far the easiest and cleanest method available for making cold brew. No need to use a colander, refrigerator shelf, upper body strength or other means to support grounds while they drain! Simply lift and twist the filter basket into position and it all drains into the brew vessel for easy dispensing.

Brew Buckets Designed Specifically for Cold Brew Coffee

Brewista’s brew buckets are manufactured in the heartland of America and designed specifically for cold brew coffee. Integrated supports position and hold the permanent filter. No adaptor rings are required like the original Cold Pro. The material is translucent, allowing users to view cold brew levels at any angle.

A tapered bottom ensures that every last bit of cold brew drains through the spigot without tilting the bucket, while the retaining well below the spigot makes sure no grounds make it into the cold brew you’re serving. Snap on lids prevent anything from getting into the cold brew while steeping and support other Cold Pro systems so they can be stacked, requiring less space in a crowded shop.


Brewista’s permanent filter is the heart of the system. This permanent filter, made of durable polypropylene and photo etched stainless steel mesh, filters cold brew down to 100 microns. The steel filtration mesh is co-molded with polypropylene sealing out any food traps. Dishwasher safe or easily cleaned with included Cold Pro Cleaner. The open design of the Brewista permanent filter allows users to stir the grounds, reducing steeping time and preventing the waste caused by grounds left unsaturated inside a sealed bag. The same Brewista permanent filter fits the original Cold Pro System (with adaptor ring), the Cold Pro 2 and Cold Pro 4. Upgrade kits with adaptor rings are available to use the Cold Pro Permanent Filter with the Toddy Commercial Cold Brew System and the Curtis TC-10H2 stainless steel iced tea dispenser.	A second layer of filtration is provided by Brewista Essentials Cold Pro Paper Filters or Brewista Essentials Smart Brew PLA Filters. These patented, gusseted filters are manufactured in a certified clean room at Brewista’s Cheyenne, Wyoming headquarters. The paper filters are woven laboratory grade paper for consistent flow through. PLA filters contain no wood-producing plant content. The plant fiber content is from annually renewable sources such as corn. All Brewista Essentials Cold Pro disposable filters refine the cold brew to approximately 20 microns.	The third level of filtration is provided by a finishing filter. These polyfiber discs are housed in a polypropylene outlet filter holder and connected directly to the dispensing spigot. Cold brew is taken down to 5 microns for ultimate refinement and cold brew coffee suitable for use with even the most finicky nitrogen dispensing systems.

How the Cold Pro Works

To prepare a batch of ready-to-drink (RTD) cold brew or cold brew concentrate, the process is simple:

Insert a Brewista Essentials Cold Pro filter into the permanent filter basket.
Add coffee grounds to the permanent filter.
Position the permanent filter so it rests below the rim of the bucket.

How the Cold Pro Works

Pour water directly over the top of the ground coffee.

The amount of coffee and water depends on whether an RTD or concentrate recipe is used.
Stir, then steep overnight (steeping time is determined by the user).

How the Cold Pro Works

After steeping:

Lift the permanent filter with the grounds.
Twist the filter onto the supports in the brew bucket and walk away!
No need to hold or squeeze the filter, the Cold Pro drains the cold brew for you!

After draining:

Dispose of the grounds and paper filter.
Dispense through the spigot into a serving vessel, hands-free!
If a concentrate recipe was used, dilute the concentrate with water to the desired ratio.
