Earl grey got its name from Charles, the second Earl Grey, who was the Prime Minister of Great Britain in the 1830s. Many stories have been told about how this iconic concoction of black tea and bergamot came to be. Regardless, earl grey is a popular favorite and has been for nearly two centuries.
