(1) To enable the best image quality, you'll need to go to Main Menu- Set up-Basic to change the "Video Output" to "3840 * 2160" manually.
(2) Please make sure that your TV is 4K or better than 4K before you do this, otherwise, it will not show any video after you change the DVR setting to the highest resolution.
(3) The default setting of the DVR is 1024 x 768.
(4) This wired camera security system can work without Internet Connection, you just need to connect the system to a monitor or TV, but if you need to view the cameras remotely, then you need to connect the DVR to internet.
