Honey Roasted Carrots

Simply add Stakich liquid honey to sweeten carrots or your favorite root vegetable

1 1/2 pounds carrots, cut on the diagonal into 2-inch lengths and halved lengthwise if thick
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp Stakich Honey
Coarse salt & ground pepper

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. On a rimmed baking sheet, toss carrots with oil; season with salt and pepper. Roast, tossing once, until tender, 30 to 35 minutes. Remove from oven, and toss with honey.

Honey Vinaigrette Dressing

2 Tbsp sherry-wine vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp finely chopped shallot
1 tsp Stakich Honey
1/4 tsp coarse salt
1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper
6 to 7 Tbsp safflower oil

In a medium bowl, whisk together vinegar, mustard, shallot, honey, salt, and pepper. Slowly whisk in oil until emulsified.

Honey Barbeque Sauce

Use as a marinade for grilled chicken, a dipping sauce or poured over your favorite pulled pork.

1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup + 1 tsp Stakich Honey
1 and 1/2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
Seasoned salt and pepper
1 chipotle chile in adobo sauce

In a blender combine the ketchup, brown sugar, honey, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon salt and a pinch of pepper. Add chipotle chile. Blend until smooth.
