The PUR Pitcher Replacement Filter fits any PUR pitcher or dispenser to provide up to two months of clean, delicious water. Created with Maxion filter technology, this filter is certified to remove 96% of Mercury and 95% of certain Industrial Pollutants*.

Fits any PUR Pitcher and/or Dispenser All PUR pitcher filters fit in any PUR pitcher or dispenser. Each filter provides up to 40 gallons - or 640 8oz cups - of water. For best performance, it's recommended that you change your pitcher filter every 2 months.	How PUR Filters Work Activated carbon is the not-so-secret ingredient to PUR water filters. The carbon absorbs organic compounds and pollutants. PUR activated carbon filters are made from coconut shells, which are 'heat treated' with steam. This produces pores within each grain of carbon, creating tiny tunnels and spaces, 1,000 square meters of surface area per gram of carbon. That's approximately 200,000 sq. ft. of nooks and crannies to absorb and trap the contaminants in your tap water in each PUR faucet filter.


Soak filter for 15 minutes.	Flush filter for 10 seconds.	Insert filter and twist to lock.	Fill pour tray with water.
