All aspects of this bed were first designed using 3D software, which ensures that the overall design of the bed is sound and all safety issues are properly addressed. Plantation-grown furniture grade Pine is used in construction, making this bed extremely strong.	Assembly Details We proudly assemble all of our built in bed storage and case goods at our manufacturing facility in Sanford, Florida. All of these items ship fully assembled to the end customer, which greatly reduces the overall in-home setup time. Assembly capability enables us to create a superior value when compared to our competitors due to the fact that items are shipped in component form from overseas and are assembled domestically versus shipping a pre-assembled unit from the overseas factory. We maintain an active inventory of parts, which allows them to react quickly to customer parts requests. We also have a comprehensive website that contains all of the set-up instructions for our products.	Easy to Assemble All Discovery World Furniture products come with comprehensive instructions that will have your new piece of furniture assembled with ease. Our products are shipped in as few pieces as possible, allowing for simple installation right out of the box. All of our under bed drawer units are equipped with metal roller glides that are already mounted to the cabinet with drawers pre-installed. Simply slide drawer unit in position, and it's ready for use. All needed hardware is labeled and included in the instructions to help make assembly smooth, and straight forward.

Charcoal Finish

Discovery’s Charcoal finish is extremely popular and represents our version of a grey finish. We found that most grey finishes in the youth market today have an industrial feel. In contrast, Charcoal stays true to our transitional/mission roots while adding an exciting brushed texture and slight black glaze that gives it a high-end weathered appearance. Charcoal is a 6 step finish and is top coated with a durable wax with a subtle sheen. The finish works well with the brushed nickel hardware and while transitional, can certainly work as a contemporary or coastal finish.

Metal Slat System A heavy duty metal slat system is included for both the top and bottom bunks. The bottom full bed also includes a metal center support that provides further support.	Trundle Features The trundle includes a wood slat kit, making it mattress ready. It can accommodate a 6.5" mattress and assembles in minutes via the use of 4 bolts.	Headboard Details The headboard includes two (2) variable height shelves that can be placed in three (3) different positions. Assembly is required.	Additional Hidden Storage The door on the footboard of the bed provides access to a large area that can be used for additional hidden storage. The space measures 83" x 39".
