Creating a fur that was soft and plush was easy. The difficulty came in making our fur capable of living up to the CordaRoy's "comfort for life" guarantee. We tested many faux fur samples and finally found one capable of withstanding a lifetime of jumping, tossing, washing, drying, kids, pets, inlaws .... etc. You see, the life of a CordaRoy's Convertible Bean bag is unlike the life of other "normal" furniture because CordaRoy's bean bags are constantly in use. Foam can be confusing. A good rule of thumb is "if the product is super lightweight it's because it's full of air and therefore will break down quickly". At CordaRoy's we use furniture-grade CertiPUR foam that is extremely long lasting yet soft and supportive. This is also the same foam that pole vaulters trust their lives to.

Liner

CordaRoy's understands that the liner needs to last forever so we use sturdy cotton/poly fabric much thicker than required just to be safe. For adult access to the foam, we also added one of our heavy duty zippers with a locking slider for child safety.
