Detecting Pump Failure through High Level Detection
In any case that there is a problem in the sump - there is one common result - the water level rises above the pump. Level Sense uses a custom designed bracket which detects the water level if it comes over the pump. Other systems use a teathered float switch which has a potential to get caught on the pump or the walls of the sump. The mounting method keeps this magnetic detection device clear and unobstructive of the operation of the sump. Notifications are sent out immediately upon high water detection to contacts of your choosing. There are unlimited email and text notification destinations.

Level Sense tracks the water level in the sump and presents 7 days of level data history in the Level Sense Portal. Let's face it, going to the basement and checking the sump is never fun. The level of water in the sump also demonstrates the pumps operation and how frequently it is cycling.
Select Output Responses to Each Alarm Type Using the Portal Interface
Use the standard settings or customize when the internal siren activates, when notifications are sent, or when the internal relay activates.
The Importance of Humidity Sensing
Leaks in the foundation of a basement cause humidity to increase and create a musty smell in the basement. Mold can begin to grow at about 60% humidity. Monitoring humidity is the key to keeping your basement mold free and leak free both around and away from the Sump Pump. The Level Sense portal will graph the basements humidity level over a 7 day period. The Level Sense will provide email and text notifications at settings you choose. The default is over 60%, you will receive a notification by e-mail or text (or none at all) according your settings.
Built in Temperature Sensing
Some home owners are concerned about the HVAC system when they'er away, others are concerend with a freezing sump discharge - or even that the registers are open in the wrong part of the house. Level Sense will send notifications according to settings you choose for temperatuers either above or below the specified range. And, yes, the temperature is included in the notification.
Protection from Tripped Breakers
In the past, it was always recommended to plug a high water alarm into a different circuit than the pump so the alarm would function in the event that the pump tripped the breaker. Not with Level Sense. Plug level sense into the same pump as the breaker. In the event Level Sense loses power but still has a WiFi connection (as is the case with a tripped breaker). Level Sense will rely on its built in rechargeable battery and a notification will be initiated indicate that incoming power has been lost. This allows the situation to be corrected before a high level alarm begins.
Notification of Complete Power Loss
Our servers track each level sense unit in the field after it has been registered. As the user, you can configure your settings to be contacted if our system has not heard from your unit in as soon as 5 minutes, or as long as 24 hours (or not at all!). If there's no power and no internet, the system will send you an alert that the device is offline. During this period, Level Sense will rely on its internal back-up battery and continue to function as a local alarm.
Home Security Interface Relay
Level Sense has connection capability to physically wire into an input of your home security system. The relay will let home security provider know that there is an issue with the sump pump.
