Foam density

GORE WEAR and Elastic Interface have collaborated to improve the critical relationship between the rider and the saddle. This collaboration, is using the knowledge of anatomy and ergonomics, and has allowed us to create a seat insert that can meet the specific needs of cyclists based on gender, distance, and intensity of use. GORE seat inserts provide the right level of protection to improve comfort and performance. Different types of density provide the right level of specific protection depending on the duration and intensity of the run.

Cup Technology

Developed to provide comfort and protection, this innovative technology takes cycling to a new level. The Cup technology contributes significantly to body temperature control: the front part is made of GORE Windstopper material, it is windproof to protect from cold and wind, and breathable to allow heat and perspiration to escape. Furthermore, it has the important function of reducing pressure: its curved shape guarantees comfort and anatomical support from start to finish.

Anti-vibration system

The anti-vibration system (AVS) provides a special lamination process of ultra high density foam layering with a particular type of fabric. The anti-vibration system disperses the weight horizontally, decreasing the deflection and counteracting the return of the foam allowing a greater "thickness of residual protection" and thus reducing the level of vibration during the race.

Position on the road bike

On a road bike, the trunk angle is sharper than in a mountain bike position. The Rider is shifted forward, maximizing pressure on the narrowest part of the saddle.
