If you want a wireless power solution for these doors, use this battery for full operation of the pet door or as a backup to the adapter in the event of a power loss. The battery is rechargeable so no need to keep replacing traditional batteries. Charging station and power adapter included.

The PetSafe SmartDoor Plus pet door is an innovative electronic pet door that uses radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology to let your pet come and go as it pleases. Only the pets wearing the SmartDoor Plus Key have access to the door, assuring security and keeping out strays and wild animals. The SmartDoor Plus pet door is also programmable so that you can set timing modes in four different options: in only, out only, in and out or no access.
