The Design's Story:

An old friend of him, who working as a chef in a famous restaurant in South of Italy. , They knew each others occasional when he traveling in south of Italy 20 years ago. This 76 years old Italian chef had been working in the kitchen since his 18, from a nobody become a local legend.

He had been use almost all the brands of knife of the world, but now he want to have something special, a high quality with a acceptable cost chef knife, as he know not much freshmen can afford some nice brands' of knife, and you never get the nice quality knife by low cost as well. He need a knife which is tough enough to do all the hard work in the kitchen, ultra sharp edge provides lasting and easy to care, no rust, even can put into the dishwasher.

The steel need to be hard enough so that the knives retain their sharpness, yet soft enough to sharpen with a whetstone. The handle need to be ergonomic and comfortable to hold, as you will never know how much stuffs need to cut in a busy restaurant's kitchen.

Therefore, he designed this 9 inch Chef Knife for his old friend. After 2 months designing and molding to finished the first samples, he sent them to Italy and he received a message from this Italy Chef " Mamamia, this is my knife ". 9 inch size is perfect, as 8 inch is too small and 10 inch is too big. The weight for 9.7 ounces (275g) and the big handle make the perfect balance when using it, it also looks so cool , simple and modlen. Everyone is loved it in the kitchen.
