How did you come up with the idea for this product?

After we released our RemoCam Smart Indoor Camera and RemoBell Video Doorbell, we realized there was no security solution for tenants living in apartments, condos, or dormitories due to regulations prohibiting installation that require screws or wiring on the property. And overall, more people now prefer out-of-the box products over ones that require some level of tooling or even professional installation. We also noticed that existing outdoor cameras suffer from poor Wi-Fi connection as thick building materials that come between the device and home router interfere with the network, not allowing users to operate their cameras in the most optimum environment. With the goal of providing reliable security for every home in mind, we came up with DoorCam – the easiest, most reliable way to secure any home.

Not only can anyone easily set it up in seconds, but it is also the only outdoor camera renters can use as it doesn't require damaging the property to install.
