Originally, envelopes were used to send documents from one place to another. Now, today’s reusable plastic envelopes can do much more than simply protect a document during transport. They can be used for everything from storing interoffice mail to holding presentations for a customer.

C-Line has developed heavyweight polypropylene envelopes that keep documents protected while passing information between departments or a client, or for storage. Available in letter and legal sizes, the durability of these envelopes allows them to be reused multiple times and for a variety of purposes.

C-Line’s Reusable Envelopes include different closure styles and features that may make one type of envelope work better for specific situations.

Envelopes with a string closure come in both top and side loading options. There is an expandable gusset that allows this holder to fit growing files. There are two circular plastic pieces located on the front cover and the flap. To secure the pages inside, simply wrap the string around both of the plastic pieces in a figure eight direction.

The zipper closure style is one of the most secure options available. Insert documents into the envelopes and simply slide the zipper to protect pages inside. Similar to the string closure, this envelope has an expanding gusset to hold more pages and loads from the side.

Another style of side loading envelope is sealed with a hook and loop closure. The plastic fastener is located in the center of the flap, keeping the documents protected inside.

The snap closure envelope has a similar design, except there is a snap button in place of the hook and loop closure. This style includes an exterior pocket for additional storage.
