All outdoor dryers should be installed in concrete. This is because of wind. Wind gusts can topple dryers, which are tantamount to sails when loaded up! Concrete protects the dryer, your clothing, and your property. But a Ground Sleeve is key! A ground sleeve is a plastic tube that goes directly into the concrete to hold the dryer's pole.
