The Proaim Orion geared head enables you to achieve even, precise and complex moves with extreme control on heavier set ups by performing precise pan and tilts delivering smooth shots.

The CNC constructed, solid aluminium geared head supports camera weighing up to 25kg/55lbs and compatible on tripod with provided 100mm bowl or Mitchell mount. It features complete tool-less assembly that saves your production time.

Marking points

Orion performs 360° fluid pans and 32° tilts with precise marking points for perfect tilting. You can repeat your moves without overshooting your mark.

Locking Mechanism

The pan & tilt lock enables you to move the camera on one axis when required in order to concentrate on the shot and eliminate unnecessary movements.

Brass Gears

The high strength brass gears are engineered to withstand long hours of operation with minimum wear and tear.

Speed Control

Orion has a 2-speed setting feature i.e. “slow mode” and “fast mode” that enables you to control the pan & tilt speed according to the requirement of shot.

Weighted Cranks

Orion features weighted cranks for counter balance so that the crank stops where you have left it and ensures constant speed over the entire 360° movement.
