The Wusthof Gourmet knives are crafted with durable full tang polymer handles to provide comfort, and the blades are finished to maintain sharp edges and ensure uniform cutting. The Gourmet collection knives are then finished similar to how Wusthof makes its forged knives. The Wusthof knives included in this set include an 8 inch chef's, 7 inch hollow edge santoku, 4.5 inch utility, 4.5 inch serrated utility, 6 inch utility, 8 inch bread, 3 inch serrated paring, 3 inch spear point paring, 2.5 inch paring, 8 inch carving, 6 inch cleaver, 5 inch boning, eight 4.5inch steak knives, 9 inch honing steel, kitchen shears and the block to store them. The care with which Wusthof knives are created makes them suitable for the cooking enthusiast as well as the professional chef. Knives should be hand washed with warm soapy water.
