In 2017 Steinbach announced a new series, the North American Santa Series. This series takes on this classic holiday icon with a refreshing new design inspired by the beauty of North America. The Steinbach Woodland Santa Nutcracker from Kurt Adler is the first in Steinbach's North American Santa Series. This woodland inspired nutcracker features Santa Claus in a maroon suit with light brown fur trim and leaf and acorn adornments. In his one hand is a sleepy brown owl and in the other is a miniature Christmas tree adorned with pine cones and topped with a bright red bird. At his feet is a basket with a teddy bear, mushrooms, and pine branches. Like all Steinbach creations, this piece is hand crafted in Germany with the finest care and attention to detail.
