This consists of one pass at maximum heat setting for blow drying and flat ironing. Curling iron is tested at 8 seconds per hair section at maximum heat setting. These laboratory tests are based on the average maximum heat setting for styling instruments of up to 450F degrees and is not recommended for use with instruments with higher than stated maximum operating temperatures.
