How to measure your dining chair for replacement cushions

Although our dining chair cushions fit many brands of dining chairs and counter-height bar chairs, not all brands are the same size & some brands offer multiple sizes. The chairs shown in our photos may be a different size than your chair. Be sure to measure your chair before ordering cushions.

Where to take the measurements

• Seat Width is measured at the widest points, left to right, across the front of the seat; Seat Depth is measured front to back, along the center
• Our cushions are tapered for best fit; the back of the seat cushion is about 5" narrower between the ties
• Cushion dimensions are approximate +/- 1"
• Not intended to fit industrial Tolix style chairs or stools without backs, see below to our Tolix-stye cushions

Tips for getting a better fit

• Latex Foam may expand as much as +2" after shipping, give the cushions time to expand after taking them out the box
• Sitting on your new cushions will help them break-in faster, they may appear undersize before they break in

Care Instructions

Balance your washer before loading. Wash on gentle cycle in cool water with a gentle detergent. Do not use bleach, brighteners, "color-safe" bleach, or harsh cleaning agents (strong acid or strong basic ph). Use caution before attempting stain remover treatment, test on a fabric swatch or inconspicuous area first. If cushions are dripping wet after washing, press out any excess moisture with your hand, then air dry on a line or on a rack (not on a solid flat surface). To prevent fading, do not expose to direct sunlight. Turn periodically while drying. Allow at least 24 hours to dry completely. Do not use dryer or expose to strong sources of direct heat, this will degrade the foam.

Cushions are sold according to the listed approximate dimensions. Cushions may not fit all styles of chair, please measure your chair before ordering. All dimensions are measured at widest points. This item is hand-crafted from pliable materials, please allow for slight variations of size and silhouette. Listed dimensions are approximate +/- 1”. Colors and textures may appear differently than expected due to factors beyond the control of the seller which are determined by the customer’s own monitor, resolution, display settings, and lighting conditions; words used to describe appearance and texture may be subject to interpretation; customers should request a fabric swatch before ordering if they wish to match a specific shade or hue of color or texture.​ Cushions will be compressed by up to several inches for shipping, this condition is temporary and will self-correct with use or by following unpacking instructions on packing list.
