How to Care for Real Leather Gloves?

1. Avoid Leather Gloves Deterioration
Oxidation, abrasion, chemical damage, and fiber breakage.

2. Maintaining Leather Gloves
Once a week, leather gloves should be gently wiped down with a smooth cloth for regular maintenance. If there is any type of sticky substance stuck to leather, dampen a cloth and gently rub away the spots. The gloves should also be turned inside out and the leather interior gently rubbed clean. If the gloves have extensive staining, a leather brush can be utilized to scrub spots clean. To dry the gloves, lay them out to dry and never store them wet. NEVER use Heat or Water to clean gloves or they will develop fiber damage or cracks!

3. Cleaning Leather Gloves
Saddle soap is made to safely clean leather. Apply the saddle soap onto the leather glove surface with a smooth cloth and use even, circular motions to work the soap into the leather. Wipe the saddle soap away with a warm, damp cloth. If saddle soap is not available, soap flakes will also clean leather. Work the soap flakes into the leather's surface using a warm, damp cloth. Also use a warm, damp cloth to remove the soap residue and lift away the soap and dirt. Allow the gloves to air dry. NO Water! No Hair Dryer!
