“Mary Margaret, you can't wear that!” I whispered to my 13-year-old sister in the dressing room as she tried on a leopard push-up bra that was as empty and as fake as the ad on the wall beside her. “Yeah, um… I don't… I don't look like this…” she giggled. We came across the same thing at every store.
At that moment in the dressing room, during the middle of my junior year of high school at age 17, I founded Yellowberry.

When my younger sister, Caroline, unexpectedly died when she was five, her Godparents wrote a list of things that were the total essence of Caroline. This list has become our Yellowberry Mantras and one mantra is printed on each of our products. Each statement reminds our Berries to take the time to enjoy, explore, and change the world around her!
