Note to first time players about ukulele tuning and how to keep a ukulele in tune; The strings on most ukuleles are made of nylon, which will stretch at first until the material stabilizes. First tighten the strings, let the uke sit with tension overnight then go back and check -when you tuned the strings they will have pulled on the neck a bit - and then the strings you tuned before will be loose! You may have to go through all the strings a few times, to get them to stop stretching. All brand new entry level beginner ukes, will require you to repeat the procedure over and over for a few days until the strings "settle in". This may be frustrating, especially at the start but, just like new shoes they often need to "broken in" for a few days. The strings going out of tune is normal in the beginning they are "broken" in. This kit includes a strap and tuning pitch pipe.
