Hemway Automotive Pigment Powder is a true automotive pigment and can be added to Clear coats and Binder coats. Ultra lightweight, water and solvent resistant. Can be used in casting resins, gel coats and even in powder coating applications due to the high-temperature durability.

Hemway Automotive Pigment will mix with any clear coat or base coats on the market (solvent and water-based paints) as well as Plasti Dip, Interior & exterior paints or Resin based paints.

At Hemway we pride ourselves in providing the highest quality Powder Pigments to meet all industry standards. You can mix any of our Hemway Auto Pigments into Automotive Paint or PlastiDip and spray over the appropriate base coat to achieve your desired effect.

Our Hemway Auto Pigment Powders are great for creating your very own colour in Automotive Paint, Plasti Dip, Powder-Coating, Interior or Exterior Wall Paint and pretty much any other application you can think of! It mixes well with any clear or coloured/tinted candy paints. Hemway Auto Pigment Powders are very fine powders and will spray well through spray paint guns, Airbrushes, Powder Guns, Preval Sprayers, and HVLP Paint Guns such as the Earlex range.

Hemway Auto Pigments are ultra lightweight, allowing them to mix and suspend well in your desired paint/coating without settling in the gun.

HOW TO USE

For paint applications, add the following amount of glitter per Litre / 0.25 gallons usage.

Automotive and Refinishing Paints: 15-25 grams (0.5-1oz) / Household Electronic & Appliance Paints: 5-25 grams (0.25-1oz) / Inner & Outer Wall Paints: 15-25 grams (0.5-1oz)

For Plasti-Dip & Rubberized Paint, add the following amount of glitter per Litre / 0.25 gallons usage.

Solid Pearls, Ghost Pearls & Nebula Pearls: 15 grams (0.5oz) / ColourShift & Chameleon Pearls: 20 grams (0.75oz) / Glow in the Dark Pigments: 50 grams (1.75oz) / Micro Flakes & Glitters, Holographic Micro Flake: 5 grams (0.2oz)

We recommend mixing all your pearl powder into 1 Litre / 0.25 gallons of thinner and mixing thoroughly before mixing into your Plasti-Dip. This ensures the pigments make their way through the dip evenly.

For Plastic/Acrylic, add the following amount of glitter per Litre / 0.25 gallons usage.

Plastic Bottles: 0.5-2% / Plastic Parts: 0.3-1% / Plastic Films: 1-4% /Latex and Rubber Products: 5-15%

For Ink applications, add the following amount of glitter per litre usage.

Gravure Inks: 5-15% / Screen Inks: 10-30% / Offset Inks: 5-10%

Although Hemway Automotive Pigment is UV resistant, we still recommend using a high UV protective lacquer when using this product, this will ensure longevity of the automotive pigment.
