From Our Farm to Your Cup - the opportunity to offer our coffee directly to you is a multi-generational dream come true. We are proud to grow, harvest, process, roast, package and deliver coffees from our farm directly to you.
Our family farm is located in Brazil, specifically in the southern region of Minas Gerais. My family has been growing coffee since 1875. My parents and I are the 9th and 10th generations working with coffee.
Did you know coffee farmers typically earn the least profit among all participants of the coffee supply chain?
Unleashed coffee is changing this paradigm by creating and promoting a model in which value is distributed fairly amongst everyone involved, from farming to sale.
Our passion
Why is this bull here? And what does he have to do with passion?
His name is "Grandão" (which means huge in Portuguese), a 2,000+ pounds bull. You also noticed I called him "he". Yes, he is part of the family. And so are many other animals we have around our farm house. Grandao loves chayote and coffee husk (a.k.a. cascara, coffee skin, or casca de café) mixed with ground corn.
We are passionated about everything we do at the farm. Taking care of wildlife, of natural resources, of our cattle, our horses, our chickens and birds that visit us every afternoon for food is paramount. We take pride in sustainable farming.
At Unleashed Coffee, we are as much committed to the farm animals as we are about producing the best coffee we can possible offer to you.

We preserve the coffee’s quality from inception to indulgence, from our farm to your cup. For the past two harvests, we have been working with consumers and coffee experts in the San Francisco Bay Area to improve our farming processes. We are always excited to unleash our newest coffees.
We are far from feeling satisfied though. We look forward to learning through your feedback so we can continue to unleash the potential of our coffees. We like to say that we “own” the quality preserved from farm to cup, from the care at the farm to the craft of roasting - all so you can have a complete coffee experience.
Fairness Without a Label
Our coffees come directly from our farm, packaged devotedly for you.
Unfortunately, such labels as "Fair Trade" and "Direct Trade" often misrepresent the relationships and processes that exist "behind the scenes". Most of the earnings are claimed by those who work the least with the coffee.
The truth is that many coffee farmers worldwide live in poverty. We proudly advocate equality for each component in the chain – farming, roasting, packaging and brewing – to ensure value and knowledge are distributed righteously. If fairness in coffee trade is important to you, there is not a purer way to connect farmers (us) to consumers (you).
0% Water Waste
Most of the coffees in the world are prepared using a method called "washed process". Did you know this process can use up to 3.8 gallons of water to process the coffee necessary to make only a cup of coffee?
We process our coffees differently. We apply a “sun-dried natural” method which nourishes naturally sweet and creamy coffees, with plenty of chocolate flavor, dried fruit aromatics and 0% water waste.
Further, we preserve the water springs and natural vegetation at our farm, by letting the land and environment ripen as they should, unbothered. Stay tuned for opportunities to visit our farm in Brazil in the near future.
