Why use premium goat milk soap?
That is a reasonable question, especially when soap is so easy to buy at the store and typically inexpensive. So why opt for a premium, handcrafted bar? Commercial soaps contain detergents that in the process of cleansing, dry out the skin. Natural Goat milk is high in naturally occurring vitamins and minerals. The sweet cream content of the milk is one of several contributors to the moisturizing properties of the soap. Soaps made with goat milk contain Vitamin A, C, E, several B vitamins, amino acids and natural enzymes. Pure Goat Milk Soap is less allergenic than other soaps. People troubled with psoriasis, eczema, dryness and even acne have credited goat milk soap with reducing associated inflammation, skin flaking and itching.

We know what goes in to our Nigerian dwarf goats, and what comes out of our dairy goats. We never use powdered milk, goat milk extract, canned goat milk or commercially manufactured goat milk soap bases. The best moisturizing benefits come from only real unprocessed raw goat milk.
We take no shortcuts
The milk is only one part of a quality soap. It must be paired with top quality oils and purified lye. Soap making oils are sensitive to heat, light, exposure to oxygen and should always be stored in a dark, cool and dry place The oils we purchase to make soap have been produced by a cold process extraction where-ever possible. This is an extraction process that is free of chemical solvents and high processing temperatures, which can destroy nutrients in a top quality oil.
Ingredients for each batch are hand weighed, mixed and poured. In addition, all soap is aged for a minimum of 6 weeks in a dark, cool, dehumidified environment. Before the soap is packed for sale, each bar is hand checked for complete curing, residual pH, quality of scent and accurate weight. We will not take shortcuts with soap quality to speed up production. High quality, nourishing artisanal soap takes time to produce.

We use sustainably sourced ingredients from responsible suppliers. We use 100% ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL and 100% ORGANIC SHEA & COCOA BUTTER in our products. We also use ORGANIC PALM FRUIT OIL produced sustainably without repercussions to Brazilian rain forests. We source our essential oils from both a single US distributor and directly from the essential oil distillers themselves across the world. Our fragrance oils are from respected suppliers. More importantly, our fragrance oil choices are also alcohol, diethyl phthalate, GMO, formaldehyde and paraben free. Our colorants are clays, herbs, spices plus real fruit and vegetable botanicals. Our colorings are structurally identical to ground minerals without the risk of arsenic, mercury or lead which can be found in many soils. We never use FD&C dyes. Last but not least, we use REAL, raw unpasteurized milk in our products - Never dehydrated, heat-treated goat milk powder.
