A red wine glass will typically have a larger, taller, broader and deeper bowl shape than a white wine glass. Red wines are bigger and bolder wines so they require a larger glass to allow all those aromas and flavours to emerge. Red wine glasses always tend to allow the fluid to be further away from the nose, as, of course distance to the wine will effect what you smell and in turn, effect how you taste. A white wine glass will be smaller in all aspects as to preserve the cooler temperature and the floral tones. The wine will be closer to the nose as at a cooler temperature the aromas will be dampened slightly.

A multi purpose wine glass has quality from both a red wine glass and a white wine glass. Such as, ample room to allow wine to breath, keeping the wine a good distance away from the nose, slimmer style to keep White wines cooler for longer and an elegant, comfortable shape to enjoy both wines.

Yes, these glasses are dishwasher safe. Although we recomend being very careful when placing them into the dishwasher as they can get scrached when placed against other items.
- How do I prevent / get rid of stains?
Minerals within the water you wash your glasses can leave them looking cloudy or create white stains on the glass. To prevent this you can wash your glasses in filtered water or simply remove any stains by polishing them with a little vinegar.
- Do I have to wash the glasses before use?
