Chlorella Pyrenoidosa is distinguished from Chlorella Vulgaris by its thicker cell wall. The components of this cell wall may facilitate a slightly more powerful detoxification effect, and promote slightly higher nutritional value than Chlorella Vulgaris*. However, the thickness of this cell wall also makes Pyrenoidosa slightly more difficult to digest.

Chlorella is a complete food, rich in protein, vitamins and minerals.3 It has twice the protein found in an equivalent weight of beef, plus it contains all 8 of the essential amino acids. 100 grams of Chlorella contains over 51,000 IU of Vitamin A. It also has B-1, B-2, B-6, B-12, C, E, pantothenic acid, folic acid, biotin, PABA, niacin, riboflavin, and inositol. Chlorella is also rich in minerals, especially iron and zinc.

BioPure Healing Products is proud to offer Chlorella that is 100% Certified Organic. The algae are grown in man-made fresh water ponds, ensuring the Chlorella is pure and free of any contaminants or pollutants. The ponds are exposed to natural sunlight, which encourages high chlorophyll content. The water the Chlorella is grown in is also super-oxygenated which allows the algae to pull in extra oxygen molecules. These are highly reactive and after ingested can readily bind with toxins and facilitate their elimination from our bodies. Because the purity and safety of our products are of the utmost importance to us, we changed our Chlorella source away from Japan subsequent to the March 2011 Toho­ku earthquake, and still have each individual batch of our product routinely tested and certified free of radiation.

In its natural form, Chlorella algae have a stiff outer cell wall. Raw Ingredients

The quality and purity of the raw ingredients we use form the basis for our high-quality nutritional supplements. Wherever possible, our ingredients are certified non-GMO, organic and free from synthetic or unnecessary additives. All of our growers are herbicide- and pesticide-free.

Our suppliers place a high priority on the nontoxicity and biodegradability of their products. Many are actively involved in the movement for sustainably sourced ingredients and maintain certifications with organizations such as RSPO, Sedex, Ecosocial, the Union for Ethical Bio-Trade, Ecocert and REACH.

Manufacturing

Until recently, virtually all vitamins and minerals used in nutritional supplements were produced using complex chemical processes that often left traces of harmful ingredients in the finished product. Our nutritional supplements are manufactured using leading-edge processes that extract the naturally occurring micronutrients from plants without leaving harmful residues behind. We manufacture in food-grade facilities to ensure our products maintain the highest standards in terms of cleanliness, purity and quality.

In addition, we use a number of other practices to ensure purity, safety and maximum efficacy:

• Flash freezing for 100% phytonutrient potency
• Advanced sublimation technology (freeze drying)
• No irradiation or EtO (ethylene oxide)
• GMP- and HACCP-compliant encapsulation facilities

All of our products are diligently tested according to FDA guidelines and certified with a COA (Certificate of Analysis). Many of our vendors run laboratory tests such as DNA certification, Essential Run Tests on pesticides and herbicides, and a mass spectrometry to identify possible adulterants. Our bottlers test for physical qualities such as the color or odor of a raw ingredient and run selective-sample assay tests congruent with batch numbers as an additional safety measure to ensure quality and consistency.

Lastly, a panel of national and European naturopathic and medical physicians runs comparative “double-blind” Energetic Testing (also known as Autonomic Response Testing) on all of our products. Our test kits are updated regularly and available to the growing number of Health Care Practitioners using this type of prognostic tool to support their treatment plans.

At BioPure, we are committed to the environment. Our products are packaged in post-consumer recycled bottles wherever possible. In addition, we strive to use only packaging materials that are 100% recycled, 100% recyclable and BPA free, and use Earth First labels made from corn instead of petroleum. Our products are packed in a way that eliminates extended exposure to heat or UV radiation to limit the impact of these on product quality during shipping.

For your safety, we no longer use cotton as filler in our bottles. We believe this reduces your potential risk of exposure to residual toxins from pesticides and other chemicals used during the cotton growth and manufacturing process [Env Justice Found 2007]. In addition, cotton can absorb moisture, resulting in damage to pills and loss of potency.
