Sierra's 18-5298 Electronic Conversion Kit replaces points and condensers for true solid state ignition. Uses standard coil, cap, and rotor. Easy to install, one-piece, 2-wire hook-up. Accurate to within 1/4° timing accuracy 0 to 6000 RPM range. Designed for use with most Prestolite V8 Distributors (with snap down cap). Can be used with Sierra's 18-5466 Hi-Performance Ignition Coil. The kit is interchangeable with GLM 72530 and Mallory 9-26903. Each Sierra product meets or exceeds the original equipment part it replaces. Fit specific, check part numbers to ensure proper fit.
