Inspired by her Nana Gwen - who was like her second mother - Karen fondly remembers creative afternoons spent curiously exploring her Nana’s elaborate make-up collection. I began my career by cutting my teeth formulating skincare and during that time I saw a gap in the market for a natural lipstick that was kind to the earth yet functionally as good as any top international brand. I adore combining my love of flowers and colour into a lipstick collection designed, just like nature, to inject colour into your day.”	OUR STORY The story of Karen Murrell begins during the summer of 2008 while a brilliant red display of Pohutukawas blossomed at Auckland’s Takapuna beach. It was here that Karen Murrell herself took inspiration, creating the first shade of our premium, natural lipsticks. Designed to inject color into your day, the beauty of our products is in both our formula and our shades, all of which are a tribute Mother Nature and her radiant, floral splendor.
