Why serve plain rice when you can serve a fragrant herb-speckled rice?
Serves 6
- 1 Tbs. unsalted butter
- 2 cups jasmine rice
- 3 cups water
- ¼ cup French Onion and Garlic seasoning (7603)
1.)Preheat oven 350F. Place 3-quart Dutch oven over medium high heat. When hot, add butter and rice and sauté 1-2 minutes or until rice smells toasted. Add water and bring mixture to a simmer. Cover pot with lid and place in oven for 13 minutes. Remove pot from oven and let rest 10 minutes. Uncover pot and fold French Onion and Garlic seasoning into rice. Serve warm.
