This is a large play mat that is bigger and thicker than most. It is 6.5 x 6.5 feet and 5/8 (.625) inches thick. This play mat is an ideal size for babies learning to crawl and toddlers learning to walk. SoftTiles are so thick that we've created a special sloped border that goes from the height of the mat to the ground like a ramp to help prevent tripping.

SoftTiles are made from nontoxic EVA foam and is tested to EN-71 European Toy Safety Standards. They are free of formamide, formaldehyde, lead, BPA, latex, phthalates. They are not treated with fire retardants. SoftTiles are waterproof and can be cleaned with a spray mop or soapy cleaning solution. Because the shapes are die-cut, they perform best on hard surfaces like hardwood, tile, or concrete. Pieces could pop out when used on carpet.
