This is a two-piece designed handrail mounting bracket that is used to install wood wall hand railing. The 3002 is typically used when you have the wood handrail running on an angle. You will install the bracket to the wall vertical and then the 2-piece design allows the handrail to sit on an angle on the bracket.Installs in just a few simple steps. Mount the bracket to the wall using provided screws, preferably in a stud. (Alternatively, you may purchase a wood wall rosette from us and mount it on that instead.) Mount the wood handrail to the bracket using the handrail mount and provided screws. We recommend using one bracket every 3 to 4 feet for maximum stability.
