(1) Our natural conditioner works together with our T’zikal Deep Hydrating Shampoo (sold separately) as an extremely effective hair treatment for damaged hair and moisturizing hair treatment for curly hair.

(2) Begin on your usual hair washing days, with T’zikal’s Hydrating Shampoo, which infuses stressed out hair with intense moisturization while gently removing dirt and impurities.

(3) Follow with T’zikal’s Deep Moisturizing Conditioning Cream to the bottom and tips of the hair shaft. Apply a generous amount of conditioning cream (depending on length of hair) into clean wet hair, leave on for 1 minute, and rinse thoroughly.

(4) Follow (optional) with T’zikal styling products: T’zikal Curl Hair Defining Serum (sold separately) and Smooth Styling Hair Wax (sold separately) for a restoring natural hair treatment.

OUR HERITAGE

Many people ask us about the meaning of our name, T’zikal. The short answer? It’s derived from the Mayan word meaning sanctified or blessed. It can also refer to something that is pure, cleansed or unburdened. This, in the deepest sense, reflects our approach to beauty, our reverence for nature and belief in the purity of true self care.

WHY MAYA?

There are endless reasons to be drawn to Mayan culture. The Maya were a civilization who understood the power of simple, natural ingredients and honored the land that provided them. Thus, in the initial exploration phase of the brand, we were led to an indigenous Mayan land and one of the most exquisite places on earth: the rainforests of Central America. It naturally followed that we would choose a name from the culture that inspired and is the philosophical core of the brand.
