THE EVOLUTION OF CONCEALMENT
In 2014 Element Outdoors set out to enhance the camouflage clothing industry and create a new way to conceal people in the outdoors. We focused our attention on the topography in the environment before we even try to manipulate the elements. We found when you take the traditional approach and add area specific shapes they tend to stick out when used in another, so we scratched the old way of developing camouflage and looked at what camouflage actually is, "Concealment". We're not trying to duplicate the environment, we are blending in with the environment.
The level of concealment we created in our Stalker pattern has carried over throughout the entire line. By layering multiple shapes into a non-uniform arrangement, then giving the shapes precise color palettes, and adding the proper shading to certain elements we have created a true 3-Dimensional effect with our patterns.
Using this forward thinking sportsmen are now able to use our patterns in multiple scenarios because there are no environment specific components in our arrangements. This is what camouflage was meant to be, and it simply works! Whether your traversing the Rockies or scouting the New Mexico plains, Element Outdoors has you concealed.
OUR STORY
Element Outdoors was conceived in 2014 by Chris, Ronnie, and Angie Nallick in 2014. Living in the Florida Panhandle gave them access to all that northwest part of the state had to offer, and all being avid Outdoorsman spending as much time as they could either fishing the beautiful gulf coast or spending time in the pine forest hunting whitetail in between the blue collar nine to five schedule.
Having a background in product and manufacturing sourcing It came natural to Chris when the idea came to form Element Outdoors. All of us were blue collar workers and it just didn’t make sense that you had to spend so much just to get quality hunting apparel. We went to our first trade show in 2014 and made some of our first connections in the industry. Now back home in Florida and after months of working with factories back and forth to get product samples we finally felt we had something superior to our competitors and that our future customers would love.
We called up longtime friend Ted Fowler who spends more time in the woods than anyone we knew, sent him over some of our clothing to wear out in the field and give us feedback. Ted came back with a few change suggestions, but not only that he came back so convinced in the brand he made his stake in Element Outdoors and joined our team.
We knew to be successful we had to keep building our team with talented people, Chris had been in contact with Riley Arnold which he met at ATA in 2015. Riley had loads of experience in Dealer and Retail sales and after sitting down and sharing our plan it turned out to be a great fit. In 2016 Riley joined the EO team to head up the sales department.
Working on the premise that most people out there are just like us and just want the best deal for their money, we decided to go against the grain and not be like every other apparel company in the outdoor industry. We build our apparel with top of the line components and features and sell at the best possible cost to our dealers and end consumers this way we know your getting the best possible value, period!
It’s our promise to always stay true to our roots, remember where we came from, and do everything we can to keep our EO family 100% satisfied because #we are the majority
