Meet the Owner

Hi, my name is Ryan Hogan, founder and current President of Desk Jockey. I want to personally thank you for taking a minute to learn more about our growing company!

Desk Jockey is a family-owned and operated small business based out of Orlando, Florida.

In 2013, I developed debilitating back and body pain after spending long hours working at my desk.  As an active person and still fairly young, (I’m not telling, but think mid-thirties) I found it strange that simply sitting for too long forced my body to so easily succumb to injury.

It also occurred to me that most people were sitting more and for longer periods than at any time in history. Elongated commutes, longer work days in the cubicle, sitting in front of the computer at home, or even relaxing on the couch in the evening had become more familiar for everyone.

I became increasingly aware and troubled that this sedentary lifestyle was a hazard on our bodies.  Furthermore, the aches and pains that accompanied the modern day-to-day was still in need of a trusted solutions provider.  This is where Desk Jockey was born.

Greetings, I'm Dr. Corey, and I am Desk Jockey's board certified health and rehabilitation consultant. I work closely with Desk Jockey's design team to make sure Desk Jockey cushions work with your body.

Our collaboration ensures Desk Jockey products can be trusted to be grounded in sound science.

Dr. Corey's Bio:

Corey M. Snyder, DPT is a Board-Certified Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. He has worked in sport physical therapy practices with emphasis on returning patients to sport. Corey’s clinical interests include rehabilitation of post-operative hip, knee, and shoulder conditions as well as management of chronic back pain.
