High Quality Artisan Craftsmanship
"I am Adriana Valenzuela. My family's village is near Antigua Guatemala, an important area during the Spanish Colonial period. We are surrounded by history, tradition and lush vegetation. In 1998 my husband began crafting carved wooden pieces for clients. Later he began working with gold leaf and eventually we established our own workshop. We've always worked together as a family. We don't have a lot of luxuries, but thanks to this art we have been able to educate our children, keep food on the table and pay our bills. A few years ago my husband passed away. Our mission is to ensure that our clients are completely satisfied. When we have extra work, we employ local artisans. We dream of having many clients so that we can offer job security to more artisans from our community and be regarded as a source of employment here."
