Johnson Laser Detectors
When operating lasers outdoors on large jobsites, you typically can't see the beam. Laser detectors become a mandatory accessory to detect beam height and ensure the accuracy of your work.
Detectors must be chosen based on the color of the laser, the type of laser (line vs. rotary), and the style of detector required. Styles include single sided LED, single and dual style LCD, and machine mountable. All of the detectors shown here are for red beam rotary lasers (635/650nm).
Most Johnson Level detectors feature variable audible tones to tell you if you're too high, too low, or on grade. All detectors have a visual indicator to show you high/low/on grade, but the type of indicator varies by model. Read on to choose the perfect detector for your new Johnson laser!
