EXO Series Exhaust Wrap

EXO Series exhaust wrap is designed for extreme environment use. Traditional exhaust wraps have not been able to withstand the extreme use that Off-road, Dirt track, Desert and other forms of driving with exposure to water and dirt. The EXO Series is a dual-layer design, using a combination of hi-temp glass fiber, covered with a 304 grade stainless steel exoskeleton. This unique construction maintains high heat protection while offering superior abrasion and impact protection. Our unique Air Gap Technology keeps direct contact of the glass fiber wrap off the hot surface creating an insulating air barrier.

The EXO Series exhaust wrap comes in a special 1.5 width, making it easy to install on any type of header, exhaust pipe or exhaust system making it perfect for high impact spot protection. In addition, the stainless steel exoskeleton locks together when overlapped keeping the wrap tight and making installation easy.

Calculate the Wrap Needed Prior to wrapping, consult the material chart to make sure you have enough wrap before you begin. Wrapping a pipe takes time and concentration. The tighter the wrap the better the hold and less chance of a loose or irregular fit. Consider anchoring one end of the wrap as it will aid in a much tighter wrap which results in better heat isolation.	Use a 1/4" Overlap Start wrapping the primary tube tightly at the exhaust port and secure it with a DEI Stainless Steel Locking Tie, hose clamp or safety wire. Testing has shown that utilizing a 1/4" overlap produces the best results without adversely affecting headers and tubing.	Secure the Ends Where primary tubes become closer together, wrap both pipes as one while using the same 1/4" overlap. Proceed to wrap the collector securing the ends with DEI Stainless Steel Locking Ties.
