Our USA-made sinks are made out of 300-grade cold rolled stainless steel in the United States. The stainless steel sinks contain 18% chromium and 6-8% nickel. Higher chromium percentages allow for quicker repair of the finish and give the steel its 'stainless' properties. The nickel content in our steel prevents our sinks from rusting.

Gauge

Most of our USA-made stainless steel sinks are available in 18 or 20-gauge, and feature a brushed-satin finish. Gauge size indicates the thickness of the sheet stainless steel the sink is made from, with a higher number referring to a thinner sheet. Our USA-made models are available in the industry standard 18-gauge or the lightweight 20-gauge.


Sound Dampening For a quieter kitchen environment, sound-dampening padding is added to the underside of all our stainless steel models to reduce the tinny sound of running water. It features four pre-drilled holes to accommodate any two-handle faucet with an accessory. This model is 300-series, cold rolled steel, with a 20-gauge thickness. The surface is given a brushed-satin finish which adds to its luster and masks minor scratches which could occur over time. Dense, sound-dampening pads are applied to the underside. With an overall measurement of 33" x 22" x 7 1/2", it will require a minimum- width cabinet of 33". This listing doesn't include any accessories.
