First, you’ll want to clean your subfloor so that it is free of all dirt, dust, grease, or other foreign material. Then, make sure the female side (loops) of the tile is facing away from the wall. After creating a perimeter with tiles, proceed to fill the rest of the room with whole tiles. Once the tiles are in place, you can then snap in the edge pieces until the area is complete.

Installation Tips and Tricks:

• When installing the hard plastic tiles, we recommend starting in the front left corner of the room and working your way out from there.
• If you come up to a wall or object, don’t worry. Just measure the area and cut the tiles with a tile cutter or a power saw with a fine-toothed blade and put the trimmed tiles into place.
• While trimming the tiles to fit, make sure you leave about a 3/4” space between the tiles and the wall or obstruction.

Nitro Tile - Motorcycle Mats are easy to clean and maintain. To keep the tiles tidy, sweep or vacuum any loose dust or dirt. For caked-on dirt and/or stains use a damp cloth with a mild soap and water mixture and scrub away!

Please note these tiles can be damaged under the weight of a car jack and prolonged sun exposure. To use a car jack, it’s recommended to use them directly on concrete or use a piece of plywood between the car jack and the tile, as this distributes the weight more evenly. If your garage gets a lot of sun, we recommend placing vented tiles wherever sunlight enters the garage to provide added stability to the floor.
