The Armor WL550 is a solvent based acrylic infused water repellent sealer designed to seal, enhance, and protect unsealed concrete, pavers, and natural stone surfaces. It penetrates deep into the surface where it chemically bonds to the pores, darkening the surface. The Armor WL550 does not leave behind a surface film, making it a true matte wet look sealer. There is no surface coating to maintain making it the preferred water repellent for those looking for a lasting enhancement.

Benefits:

Will darken and enhance unsealed concrete, brick, and pavers. Actual level of enhancement will depend on surface type, porosity, and natural color characteristics of the surface.
Penetrates into the pores to work entirely below the surface to create a true matte look. Will not leave behind a visible surface film.
Reduces surface water absorption by up to 95%, reducing damage and deterioration caused by water absorption such as cracking, spalling, pitting, staining, efflorescence, and mold growth.
Most applications require just one coat.
When properly applied can last up to 3-5 years before the need for a re-coat.

Coverage & Applications:

Porous Substrates: 625-875 ft²/pail in one coat.
Dense, Trowel Finished Substrates: 1125-1500 ft²/pail in one coat.

Actual coverage rates will vary depending on surface porosity, application method, and the applicator. The Armor WL550 is designed for use on unsealed concrete, brick, pavers, natural stone, exposed aggregate, flagstone, and slate.

Application Instructions:

The Armor WL550 is a water repellent sealer and needs to be applied to clean, unsealed surfaces. If the surface was previously sealed with an acrylic sealer or coating, consider instead a Foundation Armor coating such as the Armor AR350 or Armor WB25.

Ensure the surface is clean and dry. If the surface was pressure washed or wet from added water or rain, allow to dry for 24-48 hours.
Using a roller or acetone resistant sprayer, apply one coat of the Armor WL550, ensuring the entire surface is equally saturated. Allow to dry.

It is best to apply the Armor WL550 in the late afternoon or early evening when air and surface temperatures are declining. The Armor WL550 is not designed as a coating and will not leave behind a surface film. If a surface film is visible upon drying, the product was either over applied, or applied over a surface previously sealed with something preventing the Armor WL550 from absorption.
