Set up your Smart Life account. Click “+” on the right upper corner of Home page, then select the device type (Socket WiFi) or touch “Auto Scan.
Connect the plug to your local 2.4G WIFI with your phone.

Tips about Smart Life or AvatarControls APP

1. The devices only work with 2.4Ghz WiFi. This is the most common band. If you have a dual band router, please ensure that the 2.4Ghz band is turned on.

2 Please write down your WiFi password and have it handy in case you need to manually enter it. IMPORTANT - the password must match exactly including spacing, capitalization, punctuation, symbols, letters and numbers

3. If you do not already have the Smart Life App for another device, you must install it. Scan the QR code or download "Smart Life" app from your app store, create an account and log in

Sync with Alexa

Log in Alexa App, choose Skills, and search "Smart Life".
Select Smart life in the search results, and then click the Enable skill.
If account has been bound, click on Disable Skill and click on Enable to bind a new account.
Input your account registered for Smart Life App

Connect to Google Assistant

Login Google Home app, select "home control" of menu
Tap "+" and search "smart life"
Chose Smart Life and enter your app account and password
"Link Now" and start your home journey

My system at home is set with band steering, which means it will select 5Ghz if possible but still available for legacy hardware. With these, that created a problem. Once I created a 2.4Ghz only SSID, these connected fast and have worked perfect!
