What is Green Tea?
Green tea is sourced from the leaves of the camellia sinensis plant. This powder contains 50% polyphenols, natural plant compounds that act as powerful antioxidants. Green tea also contains a phytochemical called epigallocachetin (EGCG), which studies suggest may promote weight loss and benefit heart health.
How to Take Green Tea
As a dietary supplement, take 500 mg (3/16 tsp) one to two times daily. DO NOT take more than 1000 mg in a day. This supplement is not intended for use longer than 3 months, as prolonged intake of high amounts of EGCG may cause liver or kidney damage.
