If they are open to air, they are constantly absorbing moisture in open air and become saturated right away. Please, keep them tight seal as much as possible.	Easy Reactivation When the packet weighs around 28-32 gram, it is time to reactivate the packet. You can use either oven or microwave for reactivation. 1. Oven: Bake packets for 0.5-2 hours at 200-250F. 2. Microwave: DEFROST packets for 7-12 minutes.	Will not turn to Water. Packets Remain Dry Silica gel packets WILL NOT turn to water like calcium chloride moisture absorbers. Even when fully saturated, packets will remain dry and won't stain or damage your items. Silica gel beads can bring the humidity level down to less than 10% compared to calcium chloride which can only bring down to about 50%.
