It is made with a double vented ultra water-resistant 210T Pongee micro-weave fabric that is 100 percent water repellant to keep you dry and warm in even the harshest rainfall and wind gusts. Why is Fiberglass so Important?
We intentionally chose to use the powerful and lightweight fiberglass material for the ribs and shafts of our premium Procella Umbrellas. The fiberglass material allows for more durability and longevity to withstand fast and powerful wind gusts. We have tested our umbrellas to withstand winds of 46mph in wind tunnels.
Our unique inner mesh makes the double canopy of our umbrellas super strong. The reinforcement combined with a strong fiberglass shaft and flexible ribs offers superior protection from intense tropical storm winds and rainfall.

We know how important comfort is. We want you to stay dry, warm, and protected from rain and snow. We want you to stay cool and dry under the bright sunlight. And we also want your hands to stay comfortable and happy while you hold your Procella Umbrella.
We created a unique non-slip and fatigue-resistant rubber-covered handle. Our Procella Umbrella handle is similar to a golf club’s ergonomic grip handle. It makes it much easier for you to hold your extra-large umbrella with one hand.
Built to Last
We designed our windproof Procella Umbrellas with some unique features to withstand harsh weather conditions. We used durable fiberglass for the internal ribs and shafts construction, and added an inner mesh layer to make our umbrellas “virtually unbreakable!”
The clasp holding our umbrella closed is very simple, but an extremely reliable button that protrudes from the shaft to hold the umbrella closed. When you press the release button, our umbrella will fly open very quickly and effortlessly.
We also included two velcro straps that are used to secure the umbrella tight and closed when it’s not in use. This helps to ensure that the top canopy is secure separately from the bottom canopy, so that nothing gets snagged.
